A Fox Big Noon Kickoff on the East Coast becomes a 10 a.m. affair in the Rocky Mountains.

That’s when Colorado and Nebraska will start their Sept. 9 game at Folsom Field, according to kickoff times released by NU and the Big Ten on Wednesday.

The highly anticipated home opener for new CU coach Deion Sanders has been a pricey ticket to get. It’ll kick off at 10 a.m. Mountain Standard Time in Boulder and 11 a.m. in the Central Standard Time zone.

The Huskers will get an 11 a.m. kickoff for its annual Black Friday game with Iowa. CBS will televise the game, as the network begins its contractual relationship with the Big Ten this season.

Nebraska won two national titles on CBS in the 1990s but hasn’t appeared on the network since the 2009 Gator Bowl.

Other NU kickoff times include 7 p.m. for the Aug. 31 game at Minnesota — also on Fox — 6 p.m. for the home opener vs. Northern Illinois and 7 p.m. for the Oct. 6 Friday night game at Illinois. FS1 is the broadcast partner for both the NIU and Illini games.

The Oct. 28 game against Purdue will be played at 11, 2:30 or 3. A network has not yet been assigned.

Nebraska does not currently appear on the NBC TV or Peacock streaming schedule for 2023 but additional games will be announced at a later time.
