Nebraska football with Cornhuskers Wire

The fact that USC is changing conferences one year from now (officially, in July of 2024) means we have to begin to study our future Big Ten opponents.

In August, the focus will shift to the 2023 USC football season, but in June and early July, we’re going to learn about the Big Ten Conference, and we’ll pass along our conversations and research to you.

We begin our “Big Ten Homework Tour” in Lincoln, Nebraska. We’re going to learn a lot about the Huskers and where their football program stands.

We talked to Cornhuskers Wire editor Evan Bredeson about the state of the Huskers under first-year head coach Matt Rhule. We looked at the roster, the transition from Scott Frost, the points of emphasis Rhule is incorporating into his coaching and leadership methods, the Big Ten football schedule, and a lot more. We talked for a full hour, so you’re going to get a lot of perspective and insight on Nebraska football.

Follow Cornhuskers Wire for complete Nebraska football coverage.
