Wide receiver Zavier Betts’ future with Nebraska football became a big question mark after Thursday’s practice, the Huskers’ eighth of spring.
Betts is “not a member of the team right now,” head coach Scott Frost told reporters. Frost did not say why, nor would he say whether the third-year receiver from Bellevue West might return.
Frost called the morning’s practice the best of spring thus far. “I was really impressed with the intensity and desire to get better.”
