With Husker Football just 17 days away, I figured I would let everyone know about some Husker car fútbol that is going on.

For those that do not know what Rocket League is, it is a high-paced action-packed Esport created in likeness to soccer that has just recently became free to play. Competitive Rocket League features a 3v3 format on a standard field. The objective is simple but there is a lot of strategy in the game. If you are interested in knowing more about the game you can check out r/RocketLeague.

CRL (Collegiate Rocket League) is a league play format for this fall, and there is an Eastern and Western conference. There are 16 teams in each conference and each team had to qualify for league play through a large tournament. Both conferences play a 15 game round-robin schedule before the top 6 teams from each conference advance for playoffs. Nebraska Esports has not had a Rocket League team qualify in a year, and tonight they make their return for their first match of the season.
