Pretty good preview, I think, [if you’re interested in a somewhat Xs and Os-based preview](https://black41flashreverse.substack.com/p/illinois-preview-nobody-knows-what) of what Illinois is good at and what formations we’re likely to see– though there are a whole lot of unknowns right now so plenty of guessing at Illinois’ offense and defense based on their coaches’ history.
If they run the schemes their defensive coordinator favors, it could be hard to sustain drives against them but there will be opportunities for some very big plays in the passing game with a lot of single coverage from one of the worst secondaries on the country last year.
