Gleason, Mueller Make Semifinals in Pac Coast Championship

La Jolla, Calif. – The Nebraska men’s tennis continued its play at the Pacific Coast Doubles Championship on Saturday, with William Gleason and Calvin Mueller advancing to the semifinals.

The duo came out strong in the Round of 16, defeating the UC Davis pair of Constantinos Djakouris and Sam De Vries, 6-2, 6-4. Then, Gleason and Mueller didn’t let up in the quarterfinals, taking down Boston College’s Max Motlagh and Juan Jose Bianchi, 6-3, 6-4.

Gleason and Mueller will face Stanford’s Samir Banerjee and Filip Kolasinski in the semifinals on Sunday, which are set to get underway at 12:30 p.m. CT. In 2022, Nebraska’s Victor Moreno Lozano and Nic Wiedenhorn made it all the way to the semifinals but came up just short.
