Frost v. Hoiberg… who’s got a better chance of figuring it out at Nebraska?

I think both really have an uphill battle ahead of them. Unfortunately, It’s highly unlikely BOTH get it figured out here. If just one does, it’s still a good thing based upon how bad both have been so far.

Since we have had an absolutely disgusting basketball season and a better than average football off-season (we have heard that before), it’s totally reasonable to believe frost has a better chance of figuring it here out than hoiberg. And that’s where I would put my money today if I had to.

HOWEVER

Let us not forget how quickly basketball programs can rebuild and change momentum with a few new players, a few developed returners, and a new coaching staff, RELATIVE to football.

-Let’s also remember the difference in expectations in basketball v. Football at Nebraska. I would argue fred going .500 in basketball next season is akin to a 9-3 football season based upon current hype and expectations. The bar is lower for HCFH.

-Football went 0-6 in last 6 games and lost most of their best players. As it stands, despite new transfer quarterbacks, new OC, new WR, new recruits, we haven’t won a game since October 2.

TLDR. Frost chances better than hoiberg of turning it around TODAY but in my opinion, the chances are not as high as most people might think.
