Without naming this head coach, would you be satisfied with this record for the Huskers?

I hear a lot of people talking about various head coaches, so I’ve been doing some research on some of them. Below is the head coaching record of one of them, and I’m curious how people would feel about this being the record for Nebraska.

Some notes:

* The first team was in a mid-major conference
* The second team is in a P5 conference
* The second team went 3-9 the year prior to this coaching taking them over, an identical record to his first year.

**EDIT: Based on the comments, it seems I’ve done a poor job of communicating my question. I wasn’t asking, “Should we go get this coach to replace Frost?” I was asking, essentially, “If this coach had come to Nebraska instead of Frost, how would you have reacted to him turning in this record?”**

i.e. Taking over a P5 program (the second school):

Year 1: Same record as the previous year’s that got the previous coach fired, 9th place conference

Year 2: Improvement, but still 5 loses, one OOC, 4th place conference

Year 3: Flat overall record, slight improvement in conference play finishing 3rd

Year 4: Regression, only just above .500, more conference losses than previous year, finishing 3rd

Year 5: Significant improvement, only one in-conference loss, finishes first in conference (or division, Nebraska’s case.)
