There’s a reason Kool-Aid was invented in Nebraska

I like Matt Rhule, his resumé, the pedigree of his staff hires, his recruiting thus far. I like his philosophy, how he turned around bad programs twice. Considering how bad our stock looked at the end of this season, I’m really impressed at the recruits he’s already aquired and is expected to close.

BUT… I was impressed at the NFL tenure of Riley’s coaches and the “Calabasas Connection”. I was impressed by Scott Frost and even expected greatness in ’22 with the addition of new OC, QB, O Line, WR etc.

So here’s my point: Based on the failed turnarounds we’ve witnessed (that haven’t seemed to happen anywhere else), Husker Nation needs to go through the 12 steps of “Kool-Aid-aholics Anonymous” and put down the cup September.

I’m waiting until I see a product on the field before I pass out participation medals…… DISCUSS
