Sunday’s Tennis Match Against OSU Canceled

Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska’s men’s tennis match against Ohio State on Sunday has been canceled due to COVID-19 issues within the Buckeyes’ program. The decision to cancel was made out of an abundance of caution surrounding the health and safety of the participants.

The Huskers will now honor their three seniors, Victor Moreno Lozano, Dario Huber, and Patrick Cacciatore, between the singles and doubles matches against Penn State this afternoon. It will also mark Nebraska’s last match of the 2022 regular season.

NU is currently 8-14, and is looking for its third-straight conference victory as it takes on the Nittany Lions at 4 p.m. The Huskers are 4-3 in the Big Ten and will look to gather some momentum before the Big Ten Tournament next weekend in Madison, Wisc.
