Optimism?

I’m beginning to thinking Illinois was a massive fluke (out coached but they needed wake up call); OU isn’t a top 5 but perhaps a top 10 team; MSU is a Top 20, maybe even top 15; Nebraska *should* have won both but for special teams, discipline, and o-line play. AM is a baller (I KNOW, I WANTED HIM FIRED AFTER ILLI) but I think he’s making forced errors because can’t trust his o-line.
Even given the current climate of shitty coaching and shitty play calling and even shittier game management, I still don’t think there are any games on the schedule that are guaranteed losses which I wouldn’t have said mid-week. I honestly thought Sparty was going to literally run over us.
It is now apparent after OU and MSU, the defense is exceptional this year- they seem well prepared, motivated, and in physical shape. They continue to play good enough to win.
That being said, coach austin needs to shot into the Sun.
