N.I.L. deal for a Nebraska kicker

Serious question here because I don’t know the rules. We have 23,000 members in this group. If we all kick in $10, we will have $230K.

Is there a reason that we can’t offer a $230K Name Image Likeness deal to the best kicker in the country? Would this be enough money to guarantee us the best kicker in the nation? How do we structure this? Can we do it? If not, who would stop us?

I am getting PM and some of the comments here: The concern here is NOT how to structure the business side, that is fairly straight forward. The challenge here revolves around how to use this type of thing as a recruiting tool. We know this is probably a fine line, but believe there is likely a way to do it without getting into NCAA trouble.
