Legal ramifications of firing Scott Frost?

Hopefully, this does not need to be said, but I think most if not all agree that firing Scott Frost this year had to be done.

And, now we know the metric that Scott Frost needed in order to keep his job.

However, he was fired before he had a chance to fail to meet that metric.

Is there any chance that the written-down metric could cause legal issues? I would tend to think no because Nebraska will pay him his full contract and an additional 7.5 Million (when compared to firing him at the end of the season).

But are there any potential legal issues? I would find it amazing if Frost would want to fight for the job. It seems the fan base is completely against him, and I did not hear any players trying to defend him (he is no Paul Chryst).

Some people would find any excuse to sue. Is Scott Frost one of those people?
