Jillian Martin to Serve as GoBowling Ambassador at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

New York City, N.Y. – Fresh off a pair of all-tournament team appearances, Nebraska bowler Jillian Martin will participate in the 2022 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade next month.

Martin will be part of the GoBowling.com float and will join fellow junior team member Cameron Crowe. The two bowlers will roll across Harold Square in the Go Bowling motorized shoes and document their experiences and journey on GoBowling.com, as well as their own personal social media channels.

The Centerpiece of the parade partnership will continue with the iconic “balloonicles,” which feature 16-foot-tall bowling pins, a pair of motorized size 151½ bowling shoes, and a 15-foot diameter bowling ball.

Martin has made an immediate impact for the Husker bowling program, placing second in total pinfall with a total of 1,317 (219.50 average) at the Bearcat Roto Grip Open last weekend. She led all bowlers with a 1,745 pinfall (218.13 average) at the season-opening Motiv Penguin Classic.

GoBowling.com is a one-stop-shop for bowlers of all ages for any bowling needs and has been an official partner of the iconic holiday celebration since 2018.

The 96th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will air nationwide on NBC on Thursday, November 24, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in all time zones.
