Huskers Set for NCAA Midwest Regional

The Nebraska cross country team travels to Columbia, Mo., for the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday, Nov. 11. The women’s 6K will begin at 11 a.m., with the men’s 10K to follow at 12 p.m.
 
The women’s field includes 33 teams competing, while the men’s field features 28 teams set to compete.
 
Last Time Out
The Nebraska women placed 10th at the Big Ten Championships with 273 points. Alea Hardie had the top finish, placing 39th with a time of 21:12.0. Brynna McQuillen clocked a 21:15.9 to finish 47th, while Hannah Godwin and Taya Skelton placed back-to-back in 64th and 65th with runs of 21:36.2 and 21:37.2, respectively. Deavion DeLeon rounded out the scoring for the Huskers with a time of 21:59.1 in 83rd.
 
The Husker men finished 11th overall with 296 points. Bailey Timmons led the Big Red with a 31st-place run of 24:55.7. Jerry Jorgenson was the second Husker to cross the finish line with a time of 25:41.5 to place 73rd. Colby Erdkamp finished 81st with a run of 25:49.6, edging Cal Puskar’s 82nd-place run of 25:50.5. Grant Wasserman ran a 26:00.3 and placed 92nd to conclude the scoring for the Big Red.
