Huskers Remain Top Three in Latest Rankings



The Nebraska bowling team continues its impressive ranking, as the team sits in third in this month’s NTCA poll. 

The Big Red has completed the regular portion of their 2022-23 season. In the fall, the Huskers competed in four tournaments beginning with a championship at the Motiv Penguin Classic. The Huskers then placed fourth at the Bearcat Roto Grip Open, seventh at the Track Kat Klash and fifth at the Motiv Ladyjack Classic.   

The Huskers had a strong start to the spring semester beginning with a third-place finish at the Stormin’ Blue and White Vegas Classic. NU then dominated a 33-team field at the Northeast Classic going undefeated to claim the second championship title of the season. Additionally, the Huskers then grabbed another third-place finish at the Prairie View A&M Invite. Nebraska was able to finish third again at the 2023 Mid-Winter invitational before receiving its third title of the season at the Big Red Invite.  

NU received a total of 1,256 points, including a first-place vote. McKendree continues its streak in first place with a total of 1,428 points. Vanderbilt remains in second place with 1,324 points, Arkansas State is fourth with 1,146 points and SFA rounds out the top five with 1,112 points.
