Huskers Announce Signing of Jeremy Sisson

Head Coach Mark Hankins picked up a late piece to the 2020-21 squad, as former Arkansas Razorback Jeremy Sisson has signed his National Letter of Intent with the Huskers.

“I felt like this was the best fit for my future in education and golf, and I really connected well with Coach Hankins,” Sisson said.

The Skaneateles, New York, native was one of the top amateur players in the country, as Sisson was one of 64 junior amateurs to qualify for the 2018 US Junior Amateur Championship. Sisson was one of the top junior golfers in New York. Sisson placed 17th at the 2018 New York State Men’s Amateur Championship. In 2017, Sisson won the Golfweek International Junior Invitational by shooting a 5-under 135 beating the future US Junior Amateur Champion. In the same year, Sisson was runner-up at the 2017 New York State Boys Junior and claimed five wins on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.

Sisson spent his freshman year at the University of Arkansas where he redshirted. He will have four years of eligibility with the Huskers. Sisson plans on majoring in PGA Management once he arrives on campus.
