Huskers Announce 2022-23 Wrestling Schedule



The Nebraska wrestling team will face another challenging season as the 2022-23 slate features nine of the top-25 finishers from last season’s NCAA Championships, Nebraska Coach Mark Manning announced on Tuesday.

The Huskers will kick off the season with a home dual against North Dakota State on Nov. 4. NU will then travel to Bethlehem, Pa., on Saturday, Nov. 12 for the Journeyman’s Wranglemania where the Huskers will face Army and NC State.

NU will stay on the road and matchup with Navy in Annapolis, Md., on Saturday, Nov. 19 before competing at the Cliff Keen Invite in Las Vegas on Dec. 2-3.

The Huskers will conclude the 2022 year with a dual against South Dakota State in Brookings, SD on Sunday, Dec. 18. The team will then begin the new year with a dual against both Campbell and Gardner-Webb in Buies Creek, NC on Saturday, Jan. 7.

Conference competition will feature eight duals, four home and four away, with Big Ten action beginning in Nebraska’s home opener against Minnesota on Friday, Jan. 13. Northwestern will also travel to Lincoln for a dual on Sunday, Jan. 15

Iowa will host the Huskers in Iowa City on Friday, Jan. 20 before the Huskers return home to face Wisconsin on Sunday, Jan. 29.

The following weekend NU kicks off a three-match road stint as it faces Illinois on Friday, Feb. 3, Purdue on Sunday, Feb. 5 and Ohio State on Friday, Feb. 10.

NU will close out Big Ten regular season action at home with a dual against Rutgers on Feb. 12 before hosting Arizona State on Sunday, Feb. 19.

The Big Ten Championships will be hosted by Michigan on Saturday, March 4 and Sunday, March 5. The NCAA Championships will be in Tulsa, Okla., Thursday, March 16 through Saturday, March 18.
