Grade the position groups.

QB: C-
Didn’t do enough through the air and there were 2 costly fumbles. Running fairly well is the only thing keepthing their grade this high

RB: B-
Not enough touches. Thompkins had himself a good day and Dedrick seemed to get like 5 on every inside run.

Receivers: D+
No one was getting open but Wandale. Tight ends need to be more involved. I actually bumped up their grade due to outside blocking. Kade needed to catch that TD

OLine: B
Ran pretty well. Pass protection was pretty good. Would’ve liked a couple less penalties and less inside pressure.

DLine: B
Tackled well. Need to get more pressure on the QB or at least bat a couple more balls. I think we were all happy with their performance

Linebackers: B-
When not asked to cover guys in space for like 10 seconds, they actually played really well. Honas doesn’t miss tackles and Tannor/Jojo has a few impact plays. Still need more out of them. Seemed to blitz well. I would like to see less of Nelson vs mobile QB’s because he cannot compete with better athletes.

Secondary: D
I think by design they gave a lot of cushion. Couple big hits were about the only positive takeaways and even those seemed to always come with flags. Receivers ran open all day. They’re going to need a better pass rush. I expect them to really improve through the year as competition becomes easier.
