Nebraska rolled past Fordham in the home opener. Listen to Huskers head coach Scott Frost speak to the media after the game Saturday.

After a 52-7 thumping of FCS Fordham, Nebraska turns its attention to Buffalo, and Scott Frost expects a tougher challenge at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The Husker coach said after watching the Bulls beat Wagner 69-7, that they are aggressive and sound in their schemes.

“They looked like world-beaters in Week 1,” Frost said during his weekly Monday news conference.

Despite mistakes in back-to-back weeks, Frost said he has no intention of removing junior Cam Taylor-Britt from punt return duties.

Taylor-Britt muffed a third-quarter punt against Fordham on Saturday.

“The one Saturday was a little tough,” Frost said. “(But) Cam gives us our best opportunity to make a play back there, too.”

Oliver Martin’s injury, he also field punts against Illinois, leaves the Huskers thinner in punt returns.

* Frost said he saw improvement from the Husker O-line. “I thought we made a big step from Week 1 to Week 2,” he said. “Still room for improvement.”

* Frost was pleased with how freshman quarterback Logan Smothers played in the fourth quarter in mop-up duty against Fordham. “The big thing was the moment wasn’t too big for him,” Frost said.
