Five Heart Podcast: So Close Against OSU

Hooch, Hoss, and JDJ recap the loss against the Buckeyes and talk optimistically about the rest of the season and going forward!

We already played the “moral victory” card. This was a loss. But hot damn, it was the best loss we’ve seen this team take in some time. It was fun to watch as a game. It was more fun to watch Urban Meyer squirm as the outcome was still in doubt late in the contest. It was really fun listening to 100,000 fans booing the home team as they headed to the locker room at halftime.

Listen, friends. We’re close. Closer than any of us thought. And as ridiculous as it may have seemed a few weeks ago, we still have the possibility of making a bowl game.

Up next: Illinois. And there’s no way the Fighting “We Don’t Know What to Call Ourselves” will win this weekend!
