Comment on Radio Program RE: Trev Alberts

I was listening to parts of “The Nick Handley” show while he had Dirk Chatelain on. I was in and out so missed some of the discussion, but I know at one point they were discussing the AD position. I think they mentioned Ed Stewart lacking experience being a potential issue. Then they touched on Trev Alberts. They talked about what a great leader he was, but that they weren’t hearing anything in the rumor mill about him. They both seemed incredulous to this and that they had no idea why his name wasn’t coming up more.

The thing is, as soon as Moos’ “re-fire-ment” went down, there were people on hear speculating. Right away most posts that mentioned Trev as a candidate were pretty passionately against due to his handling of the football and wrestling programs at UNO.

Did Nick and Dirk really not get this? Maybe they don’t spend their days on reddit, but, it seemed pretty clear to me why a lot of people would have reservations. Did they just not want to even mention that for some reason?
