Nebraska Baseball Vs. Creighton: Nebraska Classic Game Thread

Huskers go for series win against Jays

After splitting the first two games of the season, the Nebraska Huskers (22-13, 11-4 Big Ten) travel to Omaha to take on the Creighton Bluejays (22-8, 5-1 Big East). Nebraska took the first game in Omaha by a score of 6-3, while the Jays routed Nebraska in a 10-2 contest in Lincoln.

Nebraska has mixed up their starting rotation for the midweek. Ethan Frazier gets the start for the Big Red instead of Kyle Perry. Perry struggled in his midweek outing last week, lasting just two thirds of an inning while giving up four walks.

Frazier made his last appearance in the Huskers 17-9 loss last Saturday against Iowa. He pitched the eighth inning, giving up a run on three hits. Frazier did show some midweek starting potential two years ago when he turned in a solid end of season run that ended in the Big Ten Tournament.
